Q. Why should I have my trash and recycle bins cleaned?

A. We not only clean your trash bins, but we disinfect, sanitize, and deodorize them as well. We use water temps up to 230 degrees Fahrenheit which rids them of 99.9% of bacteria, germs, and viruses. Additionally, we power wash the outside of the can including the parts most often touched such as the lid and handle. Our state-of-the-art system effectively reduces health hazards such as Tuberculosis, Strep, Staph, E-Coli, Salmonella & Listeria.

Q. Do I have to sign a contract for services?

A. There are no contracts. If you sign up for a recurring service, we ask you to complete at least two visits to avoid a one-time service fee from being charged.

Q. Do you clean the inside and outside of my trash bins?

A. Your trash bins will be cleaned thoroughly inside and out to ensure the entire trash bin is sanitized.

Q. Which trash bins should I get cleaned?

A. We recommend cleaning all of your trash bins due to bacteria, viruses, and germs that build up on each of the regular waste, recycle and yard waste bins.

Q. Can I swap my trash bins with other trash bins each visit?

A. In order to keep our rates as low as possible, we do not allow trash bin swapping. If you want additional bins cleaned that are not active on your account, just let us know what other bin(s) you want cleaned and we will get them cleaned on your next service date for the additional bin rate.

Q. How do you know what trash bins to clean?

A. We place a yellow branded zip tie on the handle of each trash bin we clean on a recurring service plan to let our technicians know which trash bins to clean at each visit. We do require these zip ties to stay on the bins while you have an active account. For our One-Time customers, we place one yellow branded zip tie on your regular trash bin so you can reference it the next time your need your trash bins cleaned.

Q. What day of the week would my trash bins be cleaned?

A. We will clean your trash bins the day after your trash bins are emptied by the trash hauler to ensure all of the trash bins are emptied before we arrive.

Q. Where do I leave my trash bins?

A. Leave your trash bins at the curb after they have been emptied by the trash hauler. If you are unable to do this for any reason, call/text (844) 466-7865 or email info@americanbinwashers.com and let us know where they will be for your service day.
